Check out these summer resources with your child/children, hang a few on the fridge to reference, and talk with your child about what simple reading and learning activities they’d like to try this summer. These are optional activities, but highly encouraged! Pick just a few of these activities that fit your family and interest your child. Even short amounts of time spent together reading or doing educational activities can make a big difference and get your child off to a great start for next school year!

- Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Journal- read just 8 books, fill out the log, and pick out a book to keep at the end of the summer!

Looking for yet another way to enjoy books together this summer? Watch and listen to books being read aloud by authors, celebrities, and regular ‘ol book lovers like you by going to YouTube and searching for the following channels: Brightly Storytime, MsBeckyAndBear'sStoryTime, KidTimeStoryTime, and StorylineOnline.
