Goessel Students Selected to Perform in All-State Choirs
Twenty-four Goessel students were selected through recorded auditions to perform in middle level All-State Choirs. The choirs will rehearse and perform at Century II in Wichita on February 25, 2011. Students who were selected to sing in the Kansas Choral Directors Association (KCDA) Treble Honor Choir are Nate Bray, Leah Booton, Sarah Booth, Erin Brubaker, Aleena Cook, Eden Hiebert, Lauren Hiebert, Page Hiebert, Riley Jarvis, Brittany Pennington, Alicen Meysing, Jennifer Meysing, Rachel Miller, Autumn Strecker, Gentry Thiesen, and Anna Wiens. Students who were selected to sing in the Kansas Music Educators Association (KMEA) Middle Level Honor Choir are Makayla King, Hannah Miller, Arik Schmidt, Kara Schmucker, Luke Unruh, and Zach Wiens. Erin Brubaker, Alicen Meysing, Reece Hiebert, and Lawton Makovec are alternates for this choir.
