Rolling Hills Zoo

The third grade students and many parents enjoyed the animals at the Rolling Hills Zoo near Salina on a mild, sunny day, September 26. Many of the animals were more active than in the past. The new museum displays were a big hit with the students since they were both educational and fun to explore. We enjoyed the gift shop (of course) and a chance to play on the park equipment after our picnic lunch. Congratulations to Eden and Julia. They were the winners of the traditional chip-tasting contest. Our spring field trip will be to the Hutchinson Cosmosphere.
