FUN WALK ON SEPTEMBER 26, 2009

Re: Harvest Festival Fitness Fun Walk
Please join us on Saturday, September 26, 2009 for a fun walk
around the town of Goessel starting at 9:30 a.m. The course is
about 1.5 miles in length, open to all ages and free of charge!!
Walkers, strollers, and wagons are all encouraged. No bikes,
please.
Here’s the route. Meet your friends at the grade school and then
skip off to Bethesda Home for a watermelon social with the
residents. Amble to the city park for a few minutes of tag, play
structure games, and some tasty juice. Hop over to the baseball
field to dedicate the new bridge and hopefully run under the
sprinklers if it’s warm enough. Stroll past the museum grounds on
the way back to the grade school around 11:00 a.m.
Be sure to bring suitable clothes and shoes if you choose to run
under the sprinklers at the baseball field.
Please register by September 18 so we know how many people to plan
for. We encourage you to invite your family and friends from other
communities. Help spread the word!
