The end is near! It shocks me how close we are to the end of the school year because in the P.E. classroom we have so much left! The biggest thing left of course is our first Goessel Olympics! I will be sending a flyer home with your child today asking you to come on out to celebrate this event with us! It certainly plans to be an amazing event. There will be lots to do and see on May 9 and May 10. As our year wraps up we will spend time . . .
On April 27, 2016 Goessel Elementary School celebrated 25 years of having our Outdoor Wildlife Learning Site (OWLS) area. One of the fun activities first graders got to do was to have their faces painted by some very artistic high school science class students. Whooooo would have guessed they could have such a Grrrrrreat day!!
The Junior class invites you to join us at our Poetry Coffee House on Friday, May 13th from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm. The event will take place in the Goessel High School Auditorium. This month the students have been writing poems for National Poetry month. All students wrote 20 original poems and will each present two of them. This will include a variety of different styles including spoken word and digital poetry. . . .
