H.S. Cook Position--Goessel USD 411 is accepting applications for High School Cook. Approximately 35 hours a week, pay commensurate with experience. This person should enjoy working with students, able to prepare special dietary meals, calculate and have basic math skills, able to prepare meals on a tight schedule and pay special attention to cleanliness in food preparation. Job also requires lifting up to 40 lbs., bending, and extended use of hands and arms. This job begins in August, but some training may occur in May including summer workshops. USD 411 is an EOE. Custodian Position--Goessel USD 411 is accepting applications for part-time HS custodian. This position is approximately 25-30 hours a week during the school year and full-time in the summer. School year hours range from approx. 2-6 pm with coverage for evening and/or Saturday activities. Summer hours will be shifted to the morning. Duties include primarily cleaning, sweeping, washing, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting, lifting 40-50 lbs, etc…. In addition, there may be light maintenance, occasional snow removal, moving of furniture and other duties as assigned. The hours could be increased if the applicant is available at noon for kitchen and cafeteria cleanup. The applicant should enjoy working around students and staff.
