SOLARA VOLTAIC INSTALLATION
King Solar has begun the initial preparation work just west of the GS for the installation of the solar voltaic panels today. The focus this week is on trenching for the buried cables and forming the foundations for the framework that supports the panels. Their timeline is to have everything operating and online by mid-January, weather cooperating. The $73,000 grant funding this project was written locally by USD 411 staff and approved by Westar Energy.
