Physicals and Blue Crew Shirts!
Hello Parents, Staff and Students,
I hope the summer months are going well for you. I have a couple of items that I wanted to touch base with all of you regarding the upcoming school year. It was brought to my attention that we had an outdated physical form on our district website. There had been two different links on the website and I wasn't aware of the second one, this has been corrected. Make sure you have the form that has 'rev 1/15' in the lower right hand corner as this is the correct one.
Physicals at GHS
All students are required to have on file with the school a physical signed by a licensed physician, medical insurance information and concussion form (all available on the district website). OnThursday, August 13, Dr. Rowe from Prairie Path Chiropractic will be at the high school to complete sports physicals for our students starting at 5:00 PM. The cost is $25 per physical. Please use the link below to sign up for a time slot to help reduce the wait time on the evening of the 13th, thank you.
BLUECREW IS BACK
Bluecrew shirts are for any Goessel student to receive admittance into home athletic events for free during the 2015-16 school year, all they need to do is purchase and wear their Bluecrew shirt from this year to receive free admission. They will work for any home event sponsored by our school (post-season tournaments are excluded). These are good for student admission only, parents you are welcome to purchase one to support your Bluebirds but free admission is only for students. Order online at the link below by Friday, July 24 and they will be available for pick up at enrollment.
There are two links once you are at the website, one for adult sizes and one for youth sizes, please be aware of which size you are ordering!
Finally, mark you calendars for August 5 at 6:00 pm for our parent/athlete meeting in the auditorium (this is also the first day of enrollment). I'm looking forward to serving as your AD for another year, please let me know if you have any questions!
