Despite the struggles most schools are having with funding, the fifth graders managed to take a trip to Alaska. Using long distance learning the students were able to visit the Sea Life Center in Seward, Alaska.
In science they have been learning about the eco-system and the food chain. While visiting the Sea Life Center they were able study those same concepts, while being shown actual animals living in aquariums in the museum. They also were able to see skulls of a wolf, grizzly bear, and sea lion.
