Golf Team Finishes 2nd at State!

Congratulations to the Goessel High School Golf Team for bringing home the Runner-up trophy Monday, May 19, from the 1A State Golf Tournament at Dodge City Country Club!
Cameron Voth medaled with 11th place, and Nathan Ensz and Derek Brown tied for the 17th place medal.
Coach Bontrager was pleased with the results. "I am so thrilled that the seniors have had such an incredible season. They have led their team to 1st at HOAL, 1st at Regionals (beating Quivira Heights by 1 stroke!) and now runner-up to the team who has won state 3 years in a row - Quivira Heights!"
"I am also looking forward to next year's team being led by Hayden Goertzen and Tyler Schmidt. They are doing an incredible job as sophomores and have already gotten the underclassmen lined up for the summer golf programs."
